Acro
Age 7+
Acro dance is a blend of dance and gymnastics focusing on strength, flexibility and tumbling. Acro students should be taking a jazz class. Through time and progressions, dancers will be able to achieve skills safely and be able to perform them on the floor in routines. Acro students may take exams from Level 1 onwards.

Ballet
All ages
We offer a wide range of ballet classes for all ages through the Royal Academy of Dance. Students will have the opportunity to participate in examinations and awards from level 1 onwards. To find out which class is best suited for your dancer, click the link below.

Teen Ballet (Recreational)
age 12+
A fun and engaging ballet class designed for teens looking to develop their ballet skills in a relaxed and supportive environment. Students will work on basic barre exercises, centre work, and simple choreography. The emphasis is on enjoying movement, improving posture, and gaining confidence through dance. Perfect for those who want to experience the beauty of ballet without the pressure of competitions and exams, but still have the opportunity to perform in our end of year recital.

Age 7+

The method uses equipment such as exercise balls, resistance bands, and other tools to improve core strength, flexibility, and overall dance performance. It will help dancers achieve better control, precision, and endurance, ultimately supporting their progress in their dance training. This training method is based on the renowned Progressing Ballet Techniques (PBT) course used world wide, with great results for dancers of all genres, gymnasts, rhythmic gymnasts and ice skaters.

Flamenco

Students learn to express themselves with dramatic movements and skillful footwork as they come to understand the exciting rhythms and soulful songs of gypsy music. Flamenco offers a rich experience of discovery, challenge and development.

Hip Hop
Age 6+
The focus of Hip Hop classes is to develop rhythm and strength in all movements as well as creative improvisation. The classes incorporate elements of modern Hip Hop, Dancehall, and Reggaeton. It also develops a strong group dynamic and creates an environment of teamwork.

Jazz
Age 7+
Jazz dance emphasizes individual style, expression and improvisation as noted in the many dancers today. Jazz technique develops flexibility and co-ordination of the total body. Explore different jazz styles, rhythms and techniques in this energetic, fun, quick tempo dance discipline.

Lyrical
Age 7+
Lyrical is a specific style of jazz performed to slower lyrical music or a classic ballad. Students in Lyrical must be taking a minimum of one ballet class and one jazz class per week. It is a jazz style with more interpretive and emotional elements; it also incorporates elements of ballet and modern.

Strength & Flexibility
Strength and Flexibility is for students who have previously taken the class or with instructor permission (for new students). This class is designed to improve mobility and flexibility as well as the strength required to support the flexibility. (Read More…)
Flexibility when done correctly promotes body confidence, the ability to move better and helps keep the body pain free. The class follows the Alixa Flexibility Method, a syllabus which encourages safe, smart stretching and progression. Alixa flexibility provides flexibility training alongside stretching and strength programs for kids, teenagers and adults.
